This book is completely the same as "Color and Texture in weaving" by the same author except for the title, and the picture on the front page.
The book has a great number of bright pictures of samples accompanied by threading plans, pattern and yarn etc. The lay-out is inviting and it is easy to follow the guidelines. It is a book which is nice to browse once or twice for inspiration, but I fail to see that the patterns are in any way exceptional or for that matter especially contemporary. I don't feel that this book adds anything of substance to my weaving library.
Lovely examples with detail! Good descriptions of contemporary weaving patterns and colors. Nothing traditional about this book. Will use ideas and colors from this book often!
